There are a lot of marine sports that do not pollute the sea at all. Basically are all these kind of sports where there is no necessity of engines, or other artificial human instruments. Swimming, surfing, canoeing, rowing, snorkeling, windsurfing …

Well, because we eat it.

Clean the sea is not so easy. There is a way to clean the water from oil (like after a big disaster and a petrol tank sunk), surrounding the fleck of oil with big air balls, then this water is aspired by big pumps. Easier than clean the water, is not pollute it nor dirt it!

It is not so easy! The water can be not polluted but full of foam on the top, and similarly can be polluted but clear and transparent. to check if the water is polluted or not you can see what about the like around. if there are a lot of fishes, that means water is clean, if not, the opposite. To have a very real measure of the quality of the water the only way is a chemical analysis.

Polluting the sea means throw into the sea everything that does not come from it. Plastic, paper, rubbish in general, oil, chemical stuff and much more. it is so easy because seas are so big! there is plenty of places where people can do it, without being observed.

We use the sea exactly in the same way we use it today. the only difference is that now we have more modern instruments to get things by the sea. Basically we use the sea to communicate, for the trade, for fishing. Nowadays we also study the sea with more interest than in the past, also because due to the pollution the sea needs to be protected, and to do it the monitoring activity and the study of the normal state of seas, is very important.

We need the sea for everything! Sea is life! sea is communication with other lands, sea is food because is full of fish, sea is strength and energy!
